travel between Odawara (Hakone) & Yudanaka Onsen

I think the best ways is to travel to Nagano first via Tokyo on the shinkansen. From Nagano you will need to use the local (non-JR) Nagano dentetsu trains to Yudanaka onsen.

I am planing to travel from Tokyo to Nikko, staying there 1 night, then I want to travel to Yudanaka Onnsen stay there 2 nights & then travel to Kyoto. I confused my place names in my first question as I meant to ask from Nikko to Yudanaka Onsen. sorry for the confusion.

Here is the Route from Nikko to Yudanaka Onsen, it is not very different from Odawara, as the best thing to do is taking the Shinkansen to Nagano and from there use the Nagano Electric Railway to get to Yudanaka.
