We got a 7 days JR PASS VOUCHER and we're arriving in Narita Airport next Dec 15th.
We're leaving Japan on Dec 23th and during our stay, Kyoto and Nara are supposed to be visited.
I'd like to know if JR PASS is immediately activate soon after I exchange the voucher or instead, it is only activate after the first use.

Hi there,
You can select the date of first use when you exchange your voucher for the pass.
This can either be the same day or a later date (within a month of exchange).
