I plan to go to Gala Yuzawa. Please suggest if I could use JR Pass to get the special benefits at GALA Yuzawa Snow Resort as same as JR Kanto or JR East or not.

Special offer 1 – The GALA Yuzawa Snow Fun Set With Gondola Ticket. For just this much:Adults: 900 yen, Children: 600 yen
Includes a round-trip gondola ticket, set of sled, boots and gloves.

Special offer 2 – The GALA Locker Set With Lift Ticket. For just this much:Adults: 3,000 yen, Children: 1,500 yen
Includes one-day gondola lift ticket, a locker ticket and a 10% discount on rental skis.

Hi there!

The [Gala Option ticket] is only available in combination with the JR Kanto Pass. It is not purchasable with a JR Pass but you can of course use your JR Pass to travel to Gala Yuzawa.

I Don't know the exact reason why but I guess this is a special package made by only JR East and the JR Pass is made as a ticket made by all JR Groups nation wide.
