Based on your route from Osaka to Kyoto then Kyoto to Tokyo, it is better to use individual tickets.

What if we were also to use the jr pass to Hiroshima and mt. Fuji? Also my husband wants to go to the f1 race also is the pass worth it then we have 4 travelers with us .
