Traveling to Mt. Fuji (Kawaguchiko) via JR Chuo Line

Hi Gabe,

While there are weekend and public holiday JR services up to Kawaguchiko, these are very infrequent (8:10am only last time I looked) and should be planned well in advance. In general if you're going to Kawaguchiko you'll need to use JR to Otsuki and then the non-JR Fujikyu lines from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko.

Thanks a lot. I was able to figure out the connecting train schedules to/from Otsuki-Kawaguchiko including the costs, thanks to the link you sent me.
