We are planning to travel to the following places in the same order:
Tokyo>Fukushima>yamagoto>Niigata>Kanazawa>Osaka>Kyoto>Nagano>Tokyo
Which of these routes would not be covered by the JR pass?

All these are covered by the JR Pass.
I assume you mean Yamagata (not Yamagoto?)
