Wondering if I need JR rail pass

Hello,
I've checked the trip calculator and it would seem from that I could benefit from a JR rail pass but when I look on google maps I can't find a route using JR rail trains that aren't using the Nozomi Shinkansen (not included on pass?).
This is the route:
1)Tokyo 2) Nagoya Station to catch bus to Magome 3) Nagiso station to 4) Osaka Next Osaka to 5) Kyoto
Then day trip to 6) Nara/ Uji and back to Kyoto
Lastly train from 7) Kyoto back to Tokyo.
Please let me know if I should buy JR rail pass or pay per ticket. Thanks.
