Use JR Pass on day of arrival to Japan

Hi there,

Unfortunately you can only activate and make reservations with the pass once in Japan, once you've activated it on arrival. You can still do this but the 26th will be quite busy because of the Christmas period, so it may be worth looking at prebooking at least some of the tickets if you plan on purchasing the pass, or purchasing them all individually.
