Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass

Aloha,

We are flying into HND and wanting to buy/use Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass for 5 days. We are unable to confirm if this pass includes JR travel from HND to Matsumoto (or Nagano) and back. If not, what is the most economical transportation options from, arriving HND on Day 1 and departing HND on Day 7 (6 nights).

Our itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive HND at night and stay at accommodation near Omori Station?

Day 2: Explore Tokyo all day and return to Omori accommodation.

Day 3: Travel from Tokyo to Matsumoto to begin 5 day Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass

Day 4-6: Enjoy pass throughout Matsumoto Area (includes travel to Nagoya and Nagano?)

Day 7: Travel back to HND for evening flight departure
