if I am using visa that says : cultural activities (duration for 6 month)
can I get the JR Pass?

Hi there!
The JR Pass is only valid for holders of the Temporary visitor entry status, which is valid for a maximum of 90 days. I'm afraid that unless you have this entry status/visa you will not be eligible for the JR Pass.
