Would the 14 day national pass make sense for our family of 4? We will all need the adult price passes and want to make reservations.

Dec 21 Narita to Tokyo Bay
Dec 25 Tokyo Bay to Kyoto
Dec 29 Kyoto to Hiroshima
Dec 31 Hiroshima to Osaka
Jan 2 Osaka to Tokyo
Jan 3 Tokyo to Narita

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely that purchasing your tickets individually would ultimately be your most cost-effective option, but since you'll be almost solely using Shinkansen trains then it would still make sense to purchase JR Passes if you wish to do so for practicality.
