Kyoto and Tokyo

Hi, I am going to Japan on 02/11/2023 - 12/11/2023. We are planning to just stay in Tokyo for most of our trip. But will be going to Kyoto on 06/11 - 07/11. Do I need to get a JR Pass? Or can I use other pass to go to Kyoto?

Hi there,

A 7-day JR Pass is worth considering - if you make a return trip to Tokyo - Kyoto. The cost of the pass is similar to a return trip - so any further travel is where the savings start.
