Fukuoka/Hakata from Tokyo last train?

I want to go to Fukuoka from Tokyo hotel shibapark using Japan railpass in afternoon or evening. Will it be comfortable with luggage? How much time will it take? Thanks

Hi there,

For Fukuoka you should head for Hakata station (for historical reasons, Fukuoka's bullet train terminal is called Hakata). Here is a sample itinerary.

Please note that the very latest you should leave Tokyo for Hakata is the 17:33 train arriving into Hakata at 23:52 (379 mins).
